Production Operator I - Monuments

Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Typical job titles include: General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer, Assembler and Line Operator. Core Values: Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, Teamwork, Excellence Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Learn all aspects of production, cleaning, shipping, and setting of monuments Apply stencil and weeding designs to prep monuments for sandblasting Sandblasting monuments and washing for finished products Use of different types of hand tools and CNC machines Checking monuments and repairing monuments for shipping or setting Palletizing monuments to ship to other locations Using a forklift to move monuments Trimming, sawing, and coring monuments Setting monuments in cemeteries Will be required to fill in different areas when someone is on vacation or sick Must be able to read a tap measure and be detailed oriented Education: High School, GED, or equivalent is preferred Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to lift 75+ lbs Must be able to understand directions Must be detailed oriented Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to maintain control in a fast paced, multiple project environment Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy while delivering to our customers Able to understand and execute all instructions on a customer order Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75+ lbs Lifting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling and squatting for short to long periods of time.
