We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to aid in program management activities. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to handle multiple requests efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for how a program and improve in its processes. This role will serve in the Program Management Office (PMO) as the primary support to all program management needs. The ideal candidate will have a US secret clearance or higher, be highly motivated and have prior USG work experience. The ability to work collaboratively with all entities that interface with the PMO is a must.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    Preparing, scheduling,  coordinating  and  monitoring  all assigned projects   Communicating effectively during daily interactions with clients to interpret their requirements and needs   Maintaining quality control in every area, including team dynamics, personnel performance, planning,  scheduling  and budget   Submitting reports on project status   Monitoring compliance in all aspects of the project   Communicating effectively with the pro gram  manager and other team members to  provide assistance  and technical support   Reviewing engineering deliverables and  initiating   appropriate corrective  actions throughout the project lifecycle   Decreasing supply chain risk through added vendors or suggesting alternate solutions    Be the communication hub between the program team and all supporting functions, internally or externally   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (doesn’t have to exactly follow below bullets, but provided as a guide)   Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 5-8 years of applicable experience in a similar setting   3-5 years of experience in project management   Scheduling proficiency   Detail oriented and organized   Excellent communicator and experience in problem deconfliction among teams   Ability to use MS Project, SmartSheets, and Excel   Secret clearance a plus   U.S. Citizenship   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   PMP certification   US Government contract experience   Proposal experience    Resource Management   Pay range for this role $106,000 — $145,000 USD What's in it for you: Benefits:  Competitive total compensation package  Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match  4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Why Join Zone 5 Technologies?
