Position Summary

By fostering a culture of integrity, stewardship, and collaboration —both within our team and with our partners—we create lasting value, inspire trust, and lead transformative progress for our industry and communities.The Project Executive leads all maintenance, repair, and emergency service operations for pulp and paper industrial clients. This role is accountable for safety, operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth of the Industrial Services division. The Executive partners with Business Development, Safety, HR, Finance, and Field Operations to ensure consistent execution, strong client relationships, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Set the strategic direction and long-term growth plan for industrial maintenance, repair, and turnaround services.
Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including key customer targets and service line
Provide executive oversight of all industrial services projects to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
Support estimating, proposals, and client presentations in collaboration with Business
Establish and standardize best practices for planning, estimating, execution, and project
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
Own Industrial Services P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, backlog, margin management, and corrective actions.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements; partner with Safety on incident review and trend analysis.
Lead, develop, and retain Superintendents and support staff through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Partner with HR on workforce planning, recruiting, and talent
Serve as executive sponsor for key pulp and paper customers, maintaining strong client
Participate in customer debriefs and post-project reviews to drive continuous
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
10+ years of experience in industrial construction or services, with significant experience in pulp and paper mill maintenance, outages, and turnarounds.
5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple projects or
Proven P&L responsibility and financial management
Strong knowledge of mill operations, outage planning, estimating, and execution best
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building
Ability to analyze operational and financial data to drive sound business
Experience leading geographically dispersed
High level of integrity, accountability, and
Physical & Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 80% for job site visits, client support, sales activities, and corporate meetings.
Ability to work in active construction and industrial
Ability to perform hands-on leadership activities as
Ability to work flexible schedules to meet operational
Ability to move throughout job sites, offices, and meeting
