Our Project Manager acts as a key figure in delivering complex projects from inception through to completion. The role holder is responsible for leading project teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery across time, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
The role holder will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to manage all aspects of project delivery across major developments within the Norwegian market, particularly within the data centre sector .
Responsibilities Provide strategic advice at project inception, supporting clients in defining project approach and delivery strategy.
Establish and manage overall project success criteria, including time, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope and delivery requirements.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective collaboration across all functions.
Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures.
Monitor project progress and performance, applying KPI-driven performance management techniques.
Manage project budgets and financial performance, providing regular reporting and forecasting.
Oversee procurement strategies and resource planning to support project delivery.
Lead and manage the change control process, ensuring all changes are documented and controlled.
Ensure effective communication between project stakeholders through meetings, reports, and formal updates.
Prepare and review project progress reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for senior stakeholders.
Manage client relationships and act as the primary interface across all project stages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Perform additional duties as required in support of project delivery.
About You Degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent) or working towards chartership is preferred.
Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in project management within construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
Experience delivering data centre or large-scale complex projects is highly desirable.
Understanding of the full project lifecycle, from concept through to completion and handover.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience working in a client-facing consultancy or lead contractor environment.
Strong commercial awareness with experience in managing project finances and performance.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project outcomes.
Proven ability to manage risk, change, and programme delivery effectively.
Experience working within Norway or the Nordic region is advantageous.
Fluency in English; Norwegian language skills are advantageous .
