Primary Function of Position  The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, Advanced Tissue Models will be responsible for a diverse set of products and activities for the Advanced Tissue Models (ATM) group within the Global Learning Products organization. The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives and will coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will coordinate activities during new product development, production cut-in, go-to-market, and post go-live phases of the product lifecycle and is required to have excellent communication and customer-service skills to effectively interact with multiple teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Logistics, Customer Training, Surgeon KOLs, and other stakeholders. Essential Job Duties  Lead cross-functional teams for new product development and product revision efforts. Responsibilities and tasks will include: Monitor the project from initiation through delivery and post-launch customer support activities. Create and maintain project plans, dashboards, and schedules. Develop and monitor project budgets. Ensure projects adhere to the ATM Design Control process and lead phase gate activities. Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project (i.e., product delivered on schedule and within budget constraints). Organize and manage team meetings, design reviews, and phase gate exit review boards. Participate in portfolio reviews and provide clear project updates including status, risks, mitigations, etc. Support in defining and aligning project goals with business unit and corporate objectives. Organize and prioritize the work of the teams to accomplish the objectives. Support team members, including functional managers across the business, to plan and execute the activities required to achieve project goals. Support resource demand planning for project teams including estimating project work efforts, needs, roles, and responsibilities. Work with Operations and Manufacturing to determine strategies for product cut-ins. Work with Logistics, Regulatory, and Customer Training to determine the global distribution plan. Support product management with requirements development, go-to-market, and post-launch activities. Coordinate and communicate effectively with other project managers and core teams leading new solution or new indication development with ATM dependencies to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, scope, resources, budget, and timelines. Maintain the ATM project management ecosystem, facilitate best practices, and drive process improvements. Additional job duties and tasks as determined by the functional people manager. Required Skills and Experience   5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in new product development and commercialization. Experience leading complex projects in medical device, engineering, or other clinical fields. Proven ability in overseeing new product development through Design Controls and demonstrated success in supporting product launches. Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen and demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making. Exceptional communicator and influencer with a track record of cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success. Experience working with KOLs, healthcare stakeholders, and executives, with the ability to present tailored information in a clear and concise manner to various leadership audiences. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments. Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and handle ambiguity. Ability to travel up to 10%. Required Education and Training  BS degree engineering, business, health sciences, or other scientific field. MS degree preferred. Working Conditions  Non specified Preferred Skills and Experience  Certification in project management (PMP). Experience in medical device or other regulated industries. Experience in or certification in change management and negotiation. Experience supporting product launches for multiple markets and working with Regulatory, Global Trade, and Logistics teams to ensure successful global product distribution.
