Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Propulsion Delivery Quality Manager III to join our team based in Mobile, AL .
The Propulsion Delivery Quality Manager III oversees the quality and conformity of the A220 Podded Power Plant + Pylon (PQUAD) from its induction into the Mobile FAL through final aircraft delivery. As the primary Airbus representative for airline customer inspections of the propulsion system, you will serve as the lead focal point for all PQUAD-related quality and delivery topics. You will manage the resolution of engine and nacelle concerns by coordinating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Engineering and Delivery Transaction Managers. The jobholder is strictly accountable for acting in compliance with the airworthiness requirements set forth in Chapter 561 - Approved Manufacturers - Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).

Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges:
Management & Oversight Responsibilities (50%)
Manage the quality and conformity of the A220 “Podded Power Plant + Pylon” (PQUAD) from delivery/induction into the Mobile Final Assembly Line (FAL) in compliance with the A220 Quality Management System and Health/Safety standards.
Escalate immediately any risk of a Red Quality gate and drumbeat action plan for resolution.
Manage and drumbeat any PQUAD related non-conformance (RNC, snag, NC, TLB, or QLB).
Manage complex industrial topics from upstream production cycle impacting Airbus internal flow (eg: production escape)
Manage and present non-conformities requiring Airline Customer notification with support of functions and supplier as appropriate.
Manage and monitor the performance of on-site suppliers to ensure operational reactivity and quality alignment
Customer & Stakeholder Management (20%)
Act as the Airbus primary representative in front of the airline customer for all PQUAD presentations and/or inspections
Effectively communicate complex issues and manage stakeholders at a senior management level both internally and externally.
Act as the focal point for PQUAD Quality topics in front of the Airline Customer during the Aircraft delivery phase.
Ensure and strive to improve customer satisfaction by addressing CSIP feedback and retrieving main customer feedback through Customer Acceptance Delivery Feedback (CADF).
Product Quality Assurance (15%)
Identify quality issues and trends to ensure containment and corrective actions, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and PPS/9S, are taken through End to End Dynamic Containment & Prevention
Interface with the Quality function to ensure an accurate NCR status.
Present reallocation proposals to Airline Customer as needed.
Support audits as required (internal and by Transport Canada Civil Aviation Authorities).
Continuous Improvement & Project Support (10%)
Actively contribute to a culture of excellence and foster information sharing through structured lessons learned sessions.
Lead and support value stream, customer transformation, and business efficiency projects aimed at driving continuous improvement and successfully incorporating new systems and quality management tools.
Develop and maintain regular Quality Feedback Loops (End-to-End Dynamic Containment & Prevention) to ensure sustainable operational growth and risk mitigation.
Lead key initiatives/projects for the organization on improvement efforts to further develop function
