QA Engineer/ QA Tester/ Automation Engineer

We provide services to Fortune 500 and mid-size companies to meet their talent needs with high quality IT resources through Staff Augmentation, Global Talent Management, Value Added Services through CLASS (Competency Leveraged Advanced Staffing & Solutions) Permanent Placement Services and Vendor Management Programs.  If you are interested give me a call on 973-606-3290 or you can send me the copy of resume on himanshu.prajapat(at)collabera.com Duration: 12 months (Strong possibility of extension) Responsibilities: • Able to perform manual and automation testing • Able to write test cases and test plan • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities • Work with Development, QA and other teams to understand changes to the existing production environment on an ongoing basis and for environment support • Update documentation that communicates standards and best practices of the engineering team • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Qualifications • BS in Computer Science or equivalent • 5+ years of experience in build & release and QA automation • Highly proficient in SQL • Excellent analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills • Innovative thinking and vision • Solid understanding of technology • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable • Must have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and initiative • Experience with agile software development methodologies (scrum etc) To know more about this opportunity, please contact: Himanshu Prajapat himanshu.prajapat(at)collabera.com 973-606-3290
