Regional Procurement Manager

Overview Overview The  Regional Procurement Manager  is responsible for leading and managing the regional procurement function. This includes assisting Operations Manager in identifying, evaluating, and selecting regional suppliers, negotiating regional contracts, managing regional supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.  In addition, this role performs the Procurement function and tasks of the company’s procure-to-pay system (P2P), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost control across all business units. The Regional Procurement Director is accountable for performing vendor audits, monitoring supplier performance, and addressing vendor issues as they arise. This role will work closely with warehouse leaders, branch management, and corporate teams to improve spend visibility, reduce waste, and optimize working capital.  The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a proven track record of success in procurement, materials management, and inventory control in a multi-site operational environment.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders within the organization and with key suppliers  Perform vendor pricing audits, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues that arise  Monitor and audit ordering practices for businesses within the region  Complete national account enrollments for a high volume of acquired companies New supplier / site onboarding and management within the P2P system Assist with Item & SKU catalog management Review open POs and monitor supplier price variances Support regional businesses with P2P questions Travel will vary, but a minimum of 3 days per month is anticipated Additional duties as assigned  Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree+ in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field  3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field  Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices  Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision Benefits:   Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company  Challenging and rewarding work environment  Compensation: $80-100K  401K with company match  Medical, vision & dental benefits   PAY TRANSPARENCY:    The annual pay opportunity for this role ranges from $80-100K DOE. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
