Regional Sales Director
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead our Mid-Atlantic South, Southeast, and Southcentral regions, covering Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the leadership, development, performance, and execution of the regional sales organization. Reporting directly to the Senior General Manager, this role oversees a team of Account Managers, Business Development Associates, and Business Development Managers — partnering closely with the General Manager to drive profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence across the region.
This leader will coach and develop high-performing sales professionals, reinforce sales process discipline, and drive accountability to key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) — all while fostering a culture centered on growth, customer intimacy, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop regional sales team members to strengthen sales effectiveness, improve customer retention, and accelerate new business growth.
Provide ongoing guidance on prospecting, opportunity management, cross-selling, negotiation, and account expansion strategies.
Deliver consistent training on sales process execution, CRM utilization, proposal development, time management, and professional communication.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when needed.
Partner with the General Manager on recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and developing top sales talent.
Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Motivate and inspire the team while serving as a role model for professionalism, leadership, and customer engagement.
Revenue Growth & Customer Management
Cultivate strategic partnerships through industry networking, professional associations, trade shows, and enterprise-level relationships
Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics across the region.
Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and executive-level engagements to strengthen brand presence and reputation.
Drive regional revenue growth through new business development, strategic account management, and expansion of existing customer relationships.
Support the team in identifying and prioritizing high-value opportunities within the region.
Collaborate with sales team members during customer meetings and strategic account visits to uncover additional service opportunities.
Provide guidance on pricing strategy, scope development, contract terms, and overall deal structure.
Assist with proposal review and approval to ensure alignment with company standards and profitability goals.
Support Account Managers in maintaining financially healthy customer relationships, including timely collections.
Ensure all sales terms, conditions, and operational requirements are satisfied prior to closing business.
Performance Management & Operational Excellence
Utilize CRM and reporting tools to monitor pipeline activity, forecast accuracy, and overall sales performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs).
Hold team members accountable to established goals, expectations, and sales activity standards.
Lead quarterly commission reviews and approvals.
Present regional sales performance, trends, and business insights to General Managers and executive leadership on a regular basis.
Partner with Marketing to develop strategies for customer engagement, retention, and regional growth initiatives.
Support the rollout and adoption of new products, services, and sales initiatives across the region.
Safety & Culture
Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all customer-facing and field activities align with company safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Build strong relationships internally and externally, consistently delivering a high level of professionalism and service.
Represent the organization positively with clients, prospects, and colleagues at all levels of the business.
Travel as needed to support customer relationships, team development, and regional business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field required.
10+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of consultative selling principles, prospecting strategies, account retention, and customer relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and performance through metrics, coaching, and process management.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities with attention to detail.
Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools; familiarity with Oracle CX, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel up
