Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN)   Full -Time,  Third Shift    BHCOR- Cor Adolescent Psych Cd   Unit   I Corbin, KY   The Adolescent Psychiatric unit is   an   14-bed acute stabilization unit for adolescent patients with a primary psychiatric/chemical dependency diagnosis. The Adolescent inpatient psychiatric program specializes in adolescent acute care for patients aged 12 - 17 with   primary   DSM5 or ICD10 diagnosis.   Performs   care   requires   substantial specialized knowledge , judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological,   physical   and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards.   Description:    Provides safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
