Research Assistant

An innovative, fast-growing market research firm with an entrepreneurial culture. R esearch center offering clients assistance with study and sampling design, multiple method data collection, focus groups, analysis, reports, and presentations.   Coordinate all aspects of the research with the different research partners.  We are looking for someone who has a strong eye for details, will run to problems, and exhibits a hunger for ownership and continuous growth.  We seek candidates who possess strong academic backgrounds. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field, and significant quantitative course work.   Demonstrated attention to detail in prior social science research studies is highly preferred.  Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.   The position demands knowledge of or interest in economics, a broad range of research skills, and the ability to perform quantitative analysis.  Knowledge of statistical programming packages such as STATA or SAS are preferred. Candidates must be highly motivated, analytical, detail oriented, able to work independently or in teams, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.   Candidates that are bi-lingual (English and Spanish) are strongly preferred. Entry level SQL.
