We are looking for a Risk & Claim Specialist to join our Commercial Lines Healthcare 360 Practice on a Hybrid work schedule.
Functions & Responsibilities :
Oversight of Hub Healthcare 360 service process via Smartsheets to ensure timely deliverables
Coordination of third-party claim administrator client engagements including contract renewals
Support Hub specialty claim team in the gathering of loss information for presentation to Hub 360 designated clients
Support the team in the analysis of contract indemnification/hold harmless and insurance requirement wording
Focus on the development of insurance policy language knowledge in order to support the team in coverage analysis
Ensure new clients are properly onboarded into the HC 360 program with all relevant information
Support new business efforts by identifying and providing relevant Hub Healthcare resource materials and participating in meetings
Obtain and provide reports summarizing CMS information regarding nursing home star ratings, deficiencies and tags to the clinical risk team
Act as liaison between HC 360 service teams and Account Executives for purposes of policy renewals including explanation of POC’s
Attend client claim review meetings and new business rfp’s
Utilize Hub AI resource to source healthcare industry and carrier developments
Perform other specific duties as directed by Hub Healthcare Specialty Practice Management
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of casualty claim or risk management experience with an insurance carrier, brokerage or third-party claim administrator
Willingness to travel
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
Proficient in loss data analysis
College Degree preferred
Valid P&C license
The expected pay for this position is $90,000 annually to $120,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and commissions for some positions.
