Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Manager to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the project risk management framework in alignment with project requirements and international best practices.
Establish risk management procedures, methodologies, tools, and reporting mechanisms across the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project risk registers, risk breakdown structures, risk categories, and risk ownership frameworks.
Ensure effective implementation of risk management processes across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
Support project leadership in embedding a proactive risk management culture across all project teams.
Facilitate risk identification workshops with project stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and discipline leads.
Identify, assess, and analyze project risks related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, design, construction, interfaces, procurement, and operations.
Evaluate risk probability, impact, exposure, and trends to support informed decision-making.
Develop and monitor risk mitigation, contingency, and response strategies.
Track risk actions, escalation requirements, and closure of mitigation measures.
Manage risks associated with airport airfield development, including runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.
Assess risks related to aviation operational requirements, airside access, safety constraints, and phased construction activities.
Support identification of risks associated with complex civil works, utilities integration, interfaces, and airport systems.
Monitor project risks related to constructability, logistics, temporary works, and operational continuity.
Provide risk input into project planning, execution strategies, and delivery approaches.
Support quantitative and qualitative risk assessments for project schedule and cost performance.
Coordinate with planning and commercial teams to identify schedule drivers, cost exposure, and potential impacts.
Review project forecasts, baseline programs, change events, and potential delays from a risk perspective.
Support development of contingency strategies and recovery plans.
Monitor emerging risks that may impact project milestones and financial performance.
Prepare regular risk reports, dashboards, heat maps, trend analysis, and executive risk summaries.
Provide accurate and timely risk information to project management and senior stakeholders.
Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Highlight critical risks requiring management attention and escalation.
Support preparation of risk presentations for client, leadership, and governance meetings.
Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, consultants, authorities, and project delivery teams on risk-related matters.
Facilitate risk review meetings, workshops, and interface coordination sessions.
Identify and manage risks arising from multidisciplinary interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, MEP, utilities, ICT, aviation systems, and operational teams.
Support effective communication and alignment of risk ownership across project stakeholders.
Assess risks associated with design changes, variations, scope changes, and project decisions.
Support change control processes by evaluating potential impacts on cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
Identify opportunities for project optimization, value improvement, and enhanced delivery outcomes.
Maintain traceability of risk impacts related to approved and pending changes.
Provide risk management support during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
Review contractor risk assessments, method statements, construction plans, and recovery strategies.
Support project teams in identifying construction-related risks and developing mitigation measures.
Participate in site reviews, audits, and risk assessments to verify implementation of risk controls.
Monitor contractor compliance with project risk management requirements.
Support integration of HSE, environmental, and operational risks into the overall project risk framework.
Collaborate with HSE teams to identify safety-critical risks and mitigation requirements.
Support safety-in-design reviews, constructability assessments, and operational risk evaluations.
Ensure risks associated with airport safety, airside operations, and regulatory compliance are effectively managed.
Ensure risk management activities comply with project procedures, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Support audits and reviews of risk management processes across project functions.
Promote lessons learned, risk knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of risk decisions, assessments, and mitigation outcomes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
Master’s Degree in Risk Management, Project Management, or related field is an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in project risk management for major infrastructure, airport, transportation, EPC, or large-scale construction projects.
Proven experience managing risks across complex multidisciplinary programs.
