Safety Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Contract (2-Month Term)
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Compensation: $11,000 per month + expenses
Position Summary
We are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee workplace safety programs, compliance initiatives, and risk management activities for a short-term project assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, managing incident response activities, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Support emergency preparedness planning, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
Collaborate with management and operational teams to promote continuous safety improvements.
Monitor contractor safety compliance and ensure adherence to site-specific safety requirements.
Prepare and present safety performance reports to leadership
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
2–3 years of experience in Safety Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
OSHA 30 a must
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments.
First Aid/CPR, or other safety-related certifications preferred.
Experience leading safety training and employee engagement programs.
Bilingual Korean/English is a plus.
