POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Support Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process, helping to maintain accuracy and momentum throughout the sales lifecycle while driving world-class customer experience and supporting integrated growth. The incumbent will also act as a key point of coordination between sellers, customers and cross-functional partners, supporting communication, tracking progress on open items and assisting in resolving routing issues so that sellers can remain focused on customer engagement and revenue-generating activities.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the sales-to-onboarding handoff process to ensure all required paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time (e.g., signed contract, profile), preventing delays while supporting a smooth, positive customer experience.
As assigned, conduct outbound outreach for lead qualification and appointment setting using approved scripts/campaigns, and route qualified opportunities to Sales.
Track administrative deliverables and timelines (e.g., contract status, credit review, pricing approvals, required profiles) and communicate updates to Sales, internal stakeholders and customers to support timely onboarding.
Facilitate contract legal reviews by preparing intake materials, routing agreements to Legal, tracking review status, and coordinating requested revisions between Legal and Sales
Provides occasional support with pricing development and contract preparation for sellers
Proactively reach out to customers to understand upcoming needs and schedule services.
Owns intake, qualification and sell of smaller marketing-generated leads and internal cross-sell opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and alignment with sales priorities.
Support customers with online account navigation & profile creation (e.g., portal access, basic troubleshooting, how-to guidance) and route billing, service, or customer service issues to the appropriate team.
Build and maintain cross-functional relationships (Sales, Legal, Credit, Pricing, Operations, Onboarding, Customer Support) to streamline approvals, resolve documentation issues, and improve turnaround times.
Provide responsive customer communications to support onboarding readiness and customer experience, including proactive follow-up for first-time customers on required setup steps.
Assist sales teams in identifying appropriate outlets and qualified third-party providers to address complex waste and service requirements.
Promote and support consistent CRM usage by the sales team, reinforcing data entry standards and assisting with updates to maintain accurate customer, lead, opportunity, and activity records.
Partner with Sales Manager to monitor CRM usage and support reporting on team adoption, data quality and activity tracking compliance.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of sales support and onboarding workflows, including internal approval routing and documentation requirements
Experience with CRM management and structure
Strong relationship building experience and abilities
Strong technical expertise with an extensive understanding of environmental solutions, and regulatory compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to produce high quality, error free work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing support or coordination role
