Summary The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions that support business processes and drive operational efficiency. The Salesforce Developer will be knowledgeable with Salesforce platform development, integrations, customization, and best practices, and will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, administrators, and technical teams. Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices. Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and enhancements. Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and Salesforce APIs. Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using Mulesoft. Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Create and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity concerns. Participate in release management, deployment planning, and environment strategy. Develop unit tests and maintain code coverage according to Salesforce standards. Document technical designs, development processes, and system configurations. Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies. Deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions on time and within scope. Maintain system reliability, performance, and security. Improve business process efficiency through automation and customization. Reduce technical debt and support scalable platform growth. Ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards and governance. Qualifications The following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of Salesforce development experience. Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, roles, and permission sets. Experience with source control systems such as Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Technical Skills Salesforce Platform Development Apex Programming Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce Salesforce Flow REST/SOAP APIs and Mulesoft Integration Development Git & Version Control SQL/SOQL Agile/Scrum Methodologies Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer I certification. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification. Experience with: Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, MuleSoft Azure DevOps Knowledge of CI/CD practices. Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments. Ability to work on-site at our Lake Oswego, Oregon office; remote work from other locations may be considered based on business needs.
