EVERSANA MANAGEMENT CONSULTING (EMC) is the strategic advisory arm of EVERSANA. We combine deep industry and functional area knowledge with specialized expertise in market assessment, analytics, and strategy development. Our global experts help industry executives address their most pressing business challenges.

Senior Consultants play an important role in researching and developing client recommendations as part of project teams; primary responsibilities for the position include the following:
Leading targeted secondary research (e.g., desk research, secondary data analysis) and primary research (e.g., interviews with key opinion leaders / insurance payers) with little to no oversight
Synthesizing research insights to develop logical and effective client-ready recommendations
Independently running work streams and/or entire projects, handling day-to-day client-facing responsibilities, and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met
Working closely with senior team members to present findings to clients and assist with business development opportunities
Developing high-quality client communications and deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint slides, Excel models)
Communicating verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion
Contributing to the development of the firm’s capabilities and infrastructure, leveraging knowledge and expertise in specific disease areas or project types
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

People leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. In addition to the critical management and leadership tasks listed above, this role also includes the following unique responsibilities:
Working closely with junior team members not only to ensure project delivery goals are met, but also to train staff on best practices and guide professional development
Supporting the development of a high-performance culture by being a role model for junior staff
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience and/or Training: At least 3 years of experience at a life science consultancy, with experience running projects and handling consultant-level responsibilities
A strong passion for—and understanding of dynamics and issues in—the pharma and biotech industries
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion
Technology/Equipment: proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., business, economics, life sciences, engineering) and strong academic record
Technology/Equipment: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
