Senior Consultants play an important role in researching and developing client recommendations as part of project teams; primary responsibilities for the position include the following: Leading targeted secondary research (e.g., desk research, secondary data analysis) and primary research (e.g., interviews with key opinion leaders / insurance payers) with little to no oversight Synthesizing research insights to develop logical and effective client-ready recommendations Independently running work streams and/or entire projects, handling day-to-day client-facing responsibilities, and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met Working closely with senior team members to present findings to clients and assist with business development opportunities Developing high-quality client communications and deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint slides, Excel models) Communicating verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion Contributing to the development of the firm’s capabilities and infrastructure, leveraging knowledge and expertise in specific disease areas or project types Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. Education: Bachelor’s degree required Experience and/or Training: At least 3 years of experience at a life science consultancy, with experience running projects and handling consultant-level responsibilities A strong passion for—and understanding of dynamics and issues in—the pharma and biotech industries Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate verbal and written information in logical, clear, and concise fashion Technology/Equipment: proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Advanced degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., business, economics, life sciences, engineering) and strong academic record Technology/Equipment:  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB: Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
