What is the role? Roku is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Core Analytics team supporting the Roku TV organization. In this role, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to executive business leaders, proactively identifying areas of the business requiring attention and formulating actionable insights. You will retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and visualize large-scale data sets to fuel some of Roku's most significant business decisions. This includes developing and maintaining dashboards, designing and executing experimentation frameworks, and building data pipelines that power automation and reporting. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to align data science initiatives with organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings deep curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and a strong ownership mindset spanning the full lifecycle from ideation to post-launch tracking.  For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $179,900 - $212,300 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. We’re looking for curious, adaptable builders who can show how they’ve used AI or automation to move faster, raise the bar, and scale their impact.  We value your AI skills if have built fluency across the agentic engineering toolchain — coding harnesses like Claude Code or Cursor, MCP servers, custom skills, or agent frameworks. And you can describe projects where you shipped real work with these tools.
