The Senior Director of Information Technology is a key leadership role responsible for enabling Lasko’s business strategy through scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions. This leader will drive IT strategy across manufacturing operations, supply chain, distribution, and corporate functions, ensuring strong alignment with Lasko’s growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation goals.
This position plays a critical role in modernizing legacy systems, advancing cloud adoption (Azure), strengthening data and analytics capabilities, and supporting end-to-end business process maturity—including SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic IT Leadership
Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with Lasko’s business priorities, including manufacturing efficiency, supply chain optimization, and customer experience
Partner with the ELT and functional leaders to align IT investments with measurable business outcomes
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including legacy system replacement (e.g., shipping/logistics), process automation, and AI enablement
Establish clear IT governance that reinforces accountability between IT and business process owners
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Enablement
Ensure technology effectively supports Lasko’s manufacturing operations, distribution centers, and global supply chain
Partner with operations, planning, and finance leaders to mature and enable SIOP processes through systems and data
Drive system integration and visibility across procurement, production, inventory, and fulfillment
Support continuous improvement initiatives with data, automation, and process standardization
Enterprise Applications (QAD & Ecosystem)
Own and evolve Lasko’s enterprise application landscape, with a strong focus on QAD ERP and its integrations
Lead modernization and optimization of core systems, ensuring scalability and business alignment
Ensure seamless integrations across platforms (e.g., ERP, BI, collaboration tools, planning systems)
Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements that deliver measurable value
Cloud, Infrastructure & Security
Lead Lasko’s transition to and optimization of Azure-based infrastructure and services
Ensure high availability and performance across plants, distribution centers, and corporate locations
Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity program protecting intellectual property, operational systems, and customer data
Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities aligned with manufacturing uptime requirements
Data, Analytics & AI Enablement
Advance Lasko’s enterprise data strategy, including governance, data quality, and accessibility
Expand Power BI and analytics capabilities to enable real-time, data-driven decision making across operations and leadership
Support AI adoption (e.g., Copilot, advanced analytics, automation) in a secure and governed manner
Enable standardized metrics and reporting to support SIOP, financial performance, and operational KPIs
IT Operations & Service Excellence
Lead IT service delivery across all Lasko locations, ensuring a high level of reliability and user satisfaction
Implement and mature ITIL-based service management practices
Drive continuous improvement in help desk performance, system uptime, and user experience
Establish SLAs and KPIs aligned to business expectations
Financial & Vendor Management
Develop and manage the IT budget with a focus on cost efficiency, ROI, and value delivery
Oversee vendor relationships, including ERP providers, cloud partners, and managed services
Negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with Lasko’s long-term technology strategy
Optimize sourcing strategies to balance internal capabilities and external expertise
People & Organizational Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing IT team across applications, infrastructure, and support functions
Develop leadership bench strength and technical capabilities aligned with Lasko’s future needs
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Clearly define roles between IT and business teams to reinforce process ownership outside of IT
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or consumer products
Proven experience supporting ERP systems (QAD strongly preferred) and integrated enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing systems, and distribution operations
Experience leading cloud transformations, particularly within Microsoft Azure
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, data platforms, and analytics transformation
Familiarity with SIOP processes and supporting systems
Experience modernizing legacy systems in manufacturing/logistics environments
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Azure-related credentials
