The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. The Sr. Director, Program Management Office is a senior leadership role within Dexcom's Global Operations & Quality organization. Reporting directly to the EVP of Global Operations & Quality, the Sr. Director, PMO is accountable for establishing, leading, and continuously maturing a centralized, enterprise-grade PMO function that drives strategic program execution across the full Global Operations & Quality portfolio. This leader will have direct management responsibility for leadership across the Technical Program Management and Program Management within Global Operations & Quality, creating a unified center of excellence that enables cross-functional alignment, delivery predictability, and operational rigor at scale. The Sr. Director PMO will serve as a strategic partner to the EVP and Global Operations & Quality leadership team, translating organizational priorities into executable roadmaps that accelerate Dexcom's mission of delivering continuous glucose monitoring solutions to people living with diabetes worldwide. Dexcom's Global Operations & Quality organization is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing, supply chain, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across a global footprint. As Dexcom continues to scale its product portfolio, manufacturing capacity, and international reach, the need for a centralized, high-performing PMO function is critical to: Ensure disciplined portfolio governance across hundreds of concurrent programs Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Commercial organizations Deliver complex, multi-year capital and operational programs on time, on budget, and in compliance with FDA and global regulatory standards Build a world-class program management capability that scales with Dexcom's rapid growth trajectory Where you come in : PMO Leadership & Organizational Development You build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, centralized PMO organization comprising Directors and Senior Directors of Technical Program Management and Program Management across all Global Operations & Quality functions You establish the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Global Operations & Quality PMO, defining standards for program governance, delivery methodology, and performance management You develop career pathways, succession plans, and talent development programs to attract, retain, and grow exceptional program management talent You foster a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence across the PMO organization You serve as an executive champion for the program management discipline throughout the enterprise Portfolio Governance & Strategic Execution You partner with the EVP and Global Operations & Quality leadership team to define, prioritize, and manage the organization’s program portfolio in alignment with Dexcom's strategic plan and annual operating plan You establish and maintain a robust portfolio governance framework, including stage-gate processes, investment review cycles, and executive reporting cadences You provide authoritative visibility into portfolio health, resource capacity, program risks, and strategic dependencies to enable informed executive decision-making You lead quarterly and annual program portfolio reviews, presenting findings and recommendations to the EVP and cross-functional senior leadership teams You drive effective prioritization and trade-off decisions when resource constraints or strategic shifts require reallocation across the portfolio Program Delivery & Operational Excellence You oversee delivery of the organization’s program portfolio, ensuring programs are executed with rigor, predictability, and compliance with Dexcom's quality management system (QMS) and regulatory requirements You define and deploy standardized program management methodologies, tools, and templates (including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid frameworks) appropriate for FDA-regulated medical device development and manufacturing environments You drive proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue escalation across all programs within the organization. You partner with Finance to establish program budgeting, forecasting, and cost management standards across the PMO, ensuring financial accountability and variance reporting You lead post-program retrospectives and lessons-learned processes, translating insights into systemic improvements to the PMO operating model Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Management You serve as the primary interface with enterprise PMO functions,
