Job Description:
Role Summary
8-12 yrs Exp
We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer who can design and build secure, scalable APIs and cloud-native applications on Azure, with a strong emphasis on secure coding and cloud security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop secure RESTful APIs using .NET / C#
Build and deploy applications on Azure with security-first principles
Implement authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
Integrate Azure security services into application architecture
Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
Conduct code reviews with focus on security, performance, and reliability
Required Skills
Backend Development (Core)
Strong experience in .NET (Core/6+) and C#
Solid API design experience (REST, versioning, rate limiting)
Security Expertise (Must-Have)
Hands-on experience with: Secure coding practices
Encryption, hashing, and data protection
Identity & access management
Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation
Azure Cloud (Must-Have)
Hands-on experience with Azure services such as: App Services / Azure Functions
Azure API Management
Azure Storage / Service Bus
Experience with Azure security components: Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
Key Vault (secrets & certificate management)
Managed Identities
Understanding of: Secure cloud architecture
Monitoring, logging, and threat detection
DevOps & Deployment
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Understanding of secure deployment practices
Good to Have
Certifications like CEH, CISSP, or Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
Experience with Zero Trust architecture
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS)
Experience with security tools (SonarQube, Snyk, etc.)
What Success Looks Like
APIs and services that pass security audits with minimal vulnerabilities
Secure, scalable applications running on Azure
Strong identity, access, and secrets management practices
Reduced security risks through proactive design and monitoring
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred
