Job Description: Job Summary 8-12 years experience This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using .NET / C# Design and optimize SQL Server databases Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies Ensure high performance and scalability of applications Work closely with API and frontend teams Required Skills Strong experience in .NET and C# Deep expertise in SQL Server: Query optimization Indexing Performance tuning Experience in API development Understanding of data modeling and database design Good to Have Experience with ORMs like Entity Framework / Dapper Exposure to microservices architecture Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, etc.) What Success Looks Like High-performing backend systems with minimal latency Efficient database performance even under scale Clean, maintainable, and optimized codebase Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred Employee Type: Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
