Senior .NET Software Engineer

W e're looking for a   Senior Software Engineer   to join our ever-evolving Checkout Products team and help shape the future of global commerce. What you’ll own You'll be part of a team building the services that help merchants get the most out of every payment. From payment optimization and network tokenization to merchant configuration and portal experiences, you'll design and develop cloud-native microservices that run at a global scale - and you'll see your work make a real impact every day. Designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs and even-driven services. Building and improving merchant-facing portal experiences. Collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape requirements and technical solutions. Participating in design and architecture discussions to drive quality decisions. Contributing to automated testing, security practices, and continuous delivery across the team. What you’ll bring At least 7 years designing and developing software in C#/.NET, with a strong focus on .NET Core Experience building and deploying microservices using containers and Kubernetes or OpenShift Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message streaming technologies Experience with frontend development using TypeScript and modern frameworks Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , code quality tooling, and secure coding practices Comfortable working with GIT-based workflows and agile delivery It’s a bonus if you have Experience with BDD and automated testing frameworks Knowledge of the payments and fintech industry Familiarity with security scanning tools and practices A bachelor's in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline - or equivalent experience About the team Our inclusive and global teams win together every day.
