About the Senior Product Manager, Provider Experiences at Headspace:
Headspace is building toward a future where mental health support is not a standalone product but a connected layer within a broader care ecosystem. We are moving beyond digital mental health tools to build an AI-first care ecosystem. We are creating a future where clinical tooling does not just display data but acts on it: orchestrating care, automating workflows, and surfacing intelligence so providers can focus on human connection. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our Provider Core domain, building the systems that power our providers and their external partners.
This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of platform engineering and B2B2C product delivery. Success requires strong systems thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to balance partner-specific needs with scalable platform design. At Headspace, product leaders are expected to lead with curiosity, model purposeful experimentation, give and receive feedback with care, and maintain an unwavering commitment to the member and partner experience.
What you will do:
Provider Enablement: Own the provider-facing product surface through which Headspace provider teams deliver care. Define the tooling, workflows, and data access capabilities that give providers the right member context, assessment history, and engagement signals to deliver high-quality, informed care at scale..
AI-First Clinical Enablement: Build ambient clinical intelligence tools that automate note-taking and documentation, drastically reducing administrative burden. You will define the "AI-in-the-room" experience, ensuring it meets clinical safety and quality bars.
Agentic Scheduling & Matching: Develop intelligent scheduling workflows that optimize supply and demand. You will build the logic for automated provider-patient matching and appointment management that prioritizes clinical fit over simple availability.
AI-Driven EHR & Measurement: Define the product requirements for our smart EHR interface. You will also lead the experience build that extracts clinical insights from partner systems, enabling Headspace to operate as an intelligent node in the larger healthcare network.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner consistently with clinical leadership, engineering, legal, compliance, and health plan stakeholders to ensure all data exchange protocols, escalation frameworks, and provider tooling meet applicable regulatory and clinical standards.
Success Measurement: Define and track metrics that reflect the health of this domain including provider tooling readiness, referral coordination flow automation, and interoperability readiness.
What you will bring :
Required Skills:
3-5+ Years of PM experience: You have successfully shipped products in health-tech, specifically in provider tooling, care coordination, or EHR/interoperability.
Technical Acumen (Proficient): You can speak fluently with engineers about model latency, data pipeline architecture, and the trade-offs between buy vs. build for AI integrations. You can write robust non-functional requirements.
AI/Agentic Fluency: You understand the nuance of using AI/ML and LLMs in clinical environments specifically, how to handle human-in-the-loop constraints and ensure AI output is safely surfaced to clinicians.
Builder DNA: You are comfortable working with tools like Figma, Replit, or low-code environments to vibe-check a feature before a single line of production code is written.
Collaboration: You have experience bridging the gap between clinical risk/compliance teams (who need guardrails) and engineering teams (who need to move fast).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in digital health, behavioral health, or care navigation platforms.
Familiarity with EAP (Employee Assistance Program) clinical protocols and their intersection with broader mental health care pathways.
Prior experience with provider marketplace or referral network products.
Exposure to FHIR, HL7, or other clinical interoperability standards.
Location:
This role is open to candidates across the US, with preferred locations in San Francisco, CA (hybrid), New York City, NY (remote), and Seattle, WA (remote). Candidates must permanently reside in the US full-time.
If your primary residence is in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, this role follows our hybrid model, with 3 days per week in office to support in-person collaboration. Your recruiter will share more details.
Pay & Benefits :
The anticipated new hire base salary range for this full-time position is $122,400-$170,000 + equity + benefits.
