In this role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure accurate revenue recognition, support financial reporting, and drive process improvements. Roles and Responsibilities: Analyzing and assessing the accounting and financial reporting implications related to revenue and lease contracts entered into with our customers, under ASC 606 and ASC 842. Work with cross-functional business partners to facilitate the review and operational execution of revenue and lease related deals, which includes deal structuring and processing within SAP Perform revenue close activities including executing journal entries, contract review and processing, account reconciliations, management reporting, supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance sheet/income statement variance analysis in accordance with our monthly close schedule. Collaborate cross functionally with other teams (Customer Finance, IT, Accounting, etc.) in system and process implementation projects and perform testing to validate system design is appropriate. Actively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure. Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed. Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP for responsible areas Interface with external auditors for global and statutory audit requirements. Required Skills and Experience Combination of public accounting and industry experience, with 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field. Detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to function in a fast-paced environment, especially during quarter-end reporting periods. Strong fundamental accounting knowledge. Strong technical accounting skills in ASC 606 (multiple element arrangements). Excellent communication and project management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and oversee multiple projects at once. Advanced Excel skills.
