The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems; contribute to architectural decisions; and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across Missile Defense System platforms. Responsibilities Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance. Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed. Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Master's Degree in a relevant STEM Field 12+ years of related professional experience Active Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Missile Defense Agency experience Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design  Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principles Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities) Successfully pass background and drug screening Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering Professional communications and organization skills  How you’ll grow    At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
