Site Security Officer

Overview CNI’s Site Security Officers are responsible for protective service work such as guarding buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations by employees and visitors. * This position offers a $750.00  sign-on bonus. Bonuses are paid after successful completion of 90 calendar days with no write-ups.* Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Professionally interact with and escort employees, visitors, contractors, government personnel, VIPs, and members of the public as required while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and communicating effectively with employees, guests, and stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner. Maintain a calm, confident, and professional demeanor while responding to stressful, emergency, or high-pressure situations, exercising sound judgment and self-control at all times. Prepare and complete clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports, documenting incidents, observations, and security-related activities in a timely manner. Build positive working relationships through effective communication and collaboration with site personnel, visitors, and partnering agencies. Support site security operations by performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet mission and operational requirements. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years security experience. Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a US Citizen Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. Must pass the required medical. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years. Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual’s reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenberg Act. Pass Government mandated medical and physical standards of 10 CFR Part 1046 Medical, Physical Readiness, Training, and Access Authorization Standards for Protective Force Personnel. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience monitoring alarms and dispatching is preferred.
