Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION:   A Level I Ski Patroller must constantly   monitor   and evaluate Deer Valley Resort’s ski terrain with an emphasis on safety.   RESPONSIBILITIES:   Administer first aid in a professional and   timely   manner   Perform lift evacuations as needed   Perform skier safety education, including speed control, and enforcing the responsibility code   Conducting snow surveys and snow stability tests using explosives   Assist   with mountain set up, tear down, and maintenance   Place and   maintain   mountain signs, rope lines, snow fences, and padding   Maintain   ski runs by side slipping and/or shoveling   Perform crowd control at lift mazes, day lodges, and race venues   Pick up trash on the mountain and retrieve items dropped from the lift   Assist   guests looking for lost equipment   Attends 2+ CME hours   Other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS :   Current OEC or EMT certification and completion of OEC refresher   Current CPR certification   Advanced skiing ability – able to transport a guest in a toboggan down any Deer Valley area in any snow condition   Able to   operate   a snowmobile   Must be in good physical condition with the ability to consistently lift 50lbs.    DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:     Winter 2026-27   POSITION TYPE:   Full Time   PAY RATE:   Pay: $2 4 .50 per hour   Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
