Job Summary: Job Description: PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in San Jose, CA  Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy both front-end and back-end aspects of applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and scalability. Build and implement robust APIs to integrate with various platforms and services. Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity and security. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code to maintain code quality. Conduct automated and manual testing to ensure the application runs efficiently. Optimize applications and improve performance, security, and scalability of the applications. Partner with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhance the user experience. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve the development process. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:  Primary Location | Pay Range:  San Jose, California | Salary: $149,365.00-198,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.  Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
