Software Engineer - Java with Angular

Developing frontend applications to interact with ML models, integrating inference codes, and providing tools and patterns for enhancing our MLOps cycle.  The ideal candidate has strong software design and programming experience, with some expertise in cloud computing, and big data technologies, and strong communication and management skills. Relish tackling new challenges, paying attention to details, and, ultimately, growing professionally.   Responsibilities   Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using AngularJS for the front end and Java (Spring Boot) for the backend  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions  Optimize application performance, usability, and responsiveness  Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards  Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues  Contribute to architecture and technical documentation   3 to 5 years of experience as a full stack developer  Experience in Java 8, Java 17+, Spring framework, Spring boot technologies   Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture  Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design  Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)  Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD tools  Good to have – Angular experience  Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 3 - 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience   Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUM environment   Demonstrated ability to work as part of a Global Team and lead a team when required   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills   Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business.  Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field   Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
