Specialist, Production Planner

Job Title: Specialist, Production Planner Job Description: The Role:   Our   Company   is   seeking   a   Production   Planner   to join our team.   The   Production Planner   should   have b asic knowledge and understanding of Production Planning/Scheduling methods and practices.   Can   follow established procedures on routine assignments.   Seeks   input from supervisor or more experienced peers on issues beyond routine assignments. Assignments are routine or semi-routine and under the guidance of more experienced peers.   What You’ll Do :   Review material availability and release work orders ready for kitting   Coordinate replenishment activities with procurement   Support production with part shortages   Manage work order material and approve returns of unused   components   Update open work orders with any configuration change s   Confirm all open STO (stock to order) work orders in the system and deliver to logisti cs   Work with Planners III or higher, Warehouse Manager and procurement, to update and maintain Kanban/safety stock inventory levels based upon supply/demand analysi s   Analyze work order variance and close work orders after system completion   Escalate financial bearing discrepancies to Planner III or highe r   Follow all Entegris planning policies and procedures   Any other duties as assigned .   What We Seek :   High school graduate or equivalent   Basic   understanding and knowledge of ERP/ MRP   systems   Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented   Excellent written and verbal communication skills   Strong organizational skills   Assertive, collaborative and results oriented   Ability to multitask   Work cross-functionally with multiple internal partners   Experienced in using MS Excel and mining data   What We Offer: At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunities for our employees and promote from within.
