Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Problem Resolution Specialist to join our team in Tulsa, OK. Work Schedule: 6 pm to 230am Monday to Friday; weekends and holidays as scheduled. 2nd shift differential. Job Responsibilities:   Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.   Resolve internal & external   cu stomer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications   Communicates with   cu stomers in respectful and professional manner.   Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.   Provide   cu stomer education and information as needed.   Review test forms for ac cu racy and report any discrepancies.   Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.   Ac cu rately identify and label specimens.   Pack and ship specimens as necessary.   Prepare and store excess specimen samples.    Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma or GED equivalent    6 months or   more of   experience   in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office,   clinic or hospital   Preferred   Qualification:   Cu rrent or prior Labcorp experience   Associates degree   or higher    6 months  or   more of   experience   in   cu stomer ser vi ce   Additional Job Standards: Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal   Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures    Comfortable handling biological specimens   Ability to ac cu rately identify specimens   Experience working in a team environment   Strong data entry and organizational skills   High level of attention to detail   Well-versed in applications like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and willingness to learn new applications   Ability to   lift up   to 40lbs.    Able to pass a standardized color blindness test    All job offers will be  based on a candidate ’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable  degrees/certifications,  as well as internal equity and market data.   Benefits:  Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
