Purpose
The Texas McCombs School of Business is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented, and student-focused Senior Program Coordinator to oversee the administration of its portfolio of MBA global exchange programs. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality international learning opportunities by managing program operations, supporting students throughout their global experience, and cultivating strong partnerships with leading business schools around the world. This position oversees the full lifecycle of outbound exchange, inbound exchange, double degree, and short-term international exchange programs while collaborating with faculty, staff, and global partners to ensure exceptional program quality and student success.
Responsibilities :
Program Management:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the MBA portfolio of global exchange, double degree, and short-term exchange programs.
Coordinate all phases of program administration, including planning, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Advise students on international program opportunities, application processes, academic planning, and program requirements.
Manage student recruitment, marketing, admissions, selection, nominations, orientations, and ongoing participant support.
Coordinate inbound exchange and double degree student onboarding, enrollment support, orientation, and student services.
Monitor student progress, maintain program documentation, and ensure timely completion of academic records and transfer credit processes.
Administer program budgets, billing, and exchange balance reporting.
Negotiate and administer exchange agreements, memoranda of understanding, and related contracts in collaboration with university partners.
Ensure compliance with university policies related to international travel, health and safety, and risk management.
Assess program effectiveness through student learning outcomes, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supervise student employees and provide training to MBA Program Office staff on global exchange processes.
Partnership Development & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships with approximately 30 international partner universities.
Collaborate with MBA Admissions, Texas Global, Marketing, Financial Aid, Global Risk & Safety, University Health Services, and other campus partners to support program success.
Coordinate annual exchange balance reporting, partner communications, and institutional documentation.
Update program information within university systems and ensure all partnership agreements remain current.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives that promote international opportunities to MBA students.
Work with partner institutions to resolve student issues and support successful program delivery. Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand global partnerships and develop new exchange initiatives.
Program Support & Strategic Initiatives:
Benchmark peer MBA international programs and recommend enhancements to strengthen the student experience.
Support Global Connections, Global Studies courses, and other McCombs+ experiential learning initiatives.
Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five years of experience in program administration or coordination.
At least one year of professional experience coordinating education abroad programs in higher education.
Experience managing complicated university and/or government policies and procedures.
Experience working effectively with faculty, students, administrators, vendors, and community partners.
Demonstrated ability to work well on a team but also to work effectively independently.
A commitment to providing excellent administrative support to students and faculty.
Proven ability to exercise high levels of discretion and judgement, providing practical solutions in the resolution of complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a large volume of data with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Previous success managing multiple projects, assessing work priorities, and as well meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with software, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and comfort learning new technologies
Ability to work evenings and weekends, both at the University and remote locations and to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree.
