We are guided by the following set of values and behaviors–optimism, integrity, excellence, inclusion, co-creation and boldness–and look forward to hearing about how your past experiences align with them.   Senior Associate, Design Services   Event Services is the functional area, within the Organizing Committee that is in charge to plan, design and provide a safe and welcoming visit to all ticketed events at the official venues.  The Event Visitor Services Senior Associate, Design Services is an organized and technical design professional responsible for the updating and maintenance of EVS venue floor plans for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.   This role is integral to guarantee the accurate planning of venue and Event Services spaces and will oversee requests for the updating, printing and maintenance of venue CAD diagrams.  Key Responsibilities    Liaise with VNI/EVM to procure and update venue design files  Integrate with Event Services Managers in the development of venue maps for all locations  Adjust venue maps to create appropriate EVS Baseline Maps  Development of mapping timelines and management of schedule  Development of schematic mapping system to represent the following;  Staff roles and positions through different stages of the operation  Spectator and staff amenities  Supervisor and Team Leader areas and radio call signs  Constituent flows for major groups  Accreditation zones  Signage maps  EVS barricade designs  Determine resource estimations   Manage printing, copying and distribution resources  Other mapping tasks and duties as required    Background and Requirements    Bachelor's degree required or preferred     Certifications required or preferred   Proven experience working in an international sports or events organization  Proven experience (4+ years) working in a drafting role  Proficient in AutoDesk/AutoCAD  Experience in managing a team responsible for creating and implementing changes to CAD diagrams   Builds credibility, respect, and trust with others through depth of understanding and knowledge  Provides creative and innovative solutions  Excellent English skills, including writing, communication, and presentation  Results driven with an ability to meet deadlines  Relevant tertiary qualifications  Experience or knowledge of local culture will be an added benefit   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions    Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.    The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.     The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.     Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.   Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.   Expectations    Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality output.  Ability to manage numerous tasks with a high level of detail at the same time.  Generates ideas to improve processes and create efficiencies  Ability to work collaboratively effectively with other stakeholders  Ability to work under pressure and under tight timelines with proficient Project Management skills  Strong written and oral communication  Proficient in Microsoft suites   The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00 The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
