Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter , you'll play a key role in driving profitable growth by managing and underwriting a diverse portfolio of commercial property and casualty accounts. You'll partner closely with agents and brokers to evaluate risks, identify opportunities, and deliver underwriting solutions that align with both customer needs and company objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact
Underwrite and manage a profitable portfolio of new and renewal commercial lines business.
Partner with agents and brokers to build strong relationships, identify profitable growth opportunities, and drive agency success.
Evaluate complex risks and determine appropriate pricing, terms, and coverage solutions in accordance with company guidelines and underwriting authority.
Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, and agency results to support long-term business success.
Collaborate with underwriting leadership and cross-functional partners to enhance products, processes, and underwriting strategies.
Share expertise with team members through mentoring, training, and ongoing knowledge sharing.
Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and underwriting best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
4+ commercial Lines underwriting experience with a proven ability to develop and manage a profitable book of business.
Strong underwriting judgment, analytical skills, and risk assessment capabilities.
Ability to evaluate complex risks and make sound business decisions.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with agents, brokers, and internal partners.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
