Job Summary
Responsible for tracking the life cycle of products; develops, extracts, analyzes and reports data and feedback to determine growth and profitability. The Strategic Planning team within the MVPD (Syndication) team is a subset of the Comcast Technology Solutions group responsible for MVPD business unit strategy and execution. The team is consulted and collaborates cross functionally (Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Sales) to deliver analysis and drive business outcomes.
Job Description

Responsibilities
Communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business through effective framing and analysis performed on existing and net-new Syndication programs and initiatives.
Problem solve complex business case analysis and determine levers and trade-off options that can be understood and actioned upon by VP+ levels in the organization.
Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions across business units and present to leadership; monitor and drive program results and understand impact to overall investments.
Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes and capital and operating expense decision making for major strategic initiatives and day to day operations of the business.
Develops strategic plans through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, building recommendations that directly address business objectives.
Develops and recommends strategy changes and future strategies based on development of financial models and synthesis of internal and external research findings.
Leads special project teams or cross-functional programs, and provides expertise and skills in areas of strategic planning.
Consults with other Specialists and senior management across several business units within the organization and collaborates on special projects.
Required Skills
10+ years of overall experience ideally within m anagement consulting or consultancy experience
Cost Optimization: Understand products or processes in an out and be able to articulate value to customers, return on investment to the business and appropriate tradeoffs in business unit decision making.
Strategic execution: Ability to take an idea from a PowerPoint or spreadsheet and turn it into an actionable program plan.
Self-starter: Ability to operate in ambiguity with lack of clarity on what the answer “should” be; this role is expected to develop and recommend what multiple answers “could” be.
Adaptability and willingness to grow/learn: Ability to put on hats that you haven’t worn before and take on projects that may be different from prior experience or field of study.
Analytical and financial acumen: Strong add/subtract and math skills with the ability to understand how P&L works to cash flow.
Consultative mindset: Ability to act as an internal consultant by finding projects, identifying pricing opportunities, and developing recommendations that support business outcomes.
Influence and interpersonal skills: Ability to get someone to implement and do the things you recommend through strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive-ready presentation skills.
Excel and presentation capability: Ability to freely think in Excel, speak to the analysis, and present recommendations to executive leaders.
