This role will be based in Sunnyvale/Mountain View (Headquarters), Bellevue, Chicago, Carpinteria, Detroit, New York City, Omaha, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be part of the People Analytics organization within the Global Talent Organization (GTO) at LinkedIn. People Analytics enables better, faster, and more strategic workforce decisions through trusted data, scalable insights, and modern analytics platforms.
This position sits within the Programs & Projects team and reports to the Manager, Technical Programs & Projects. The team delivers high-priority, cross-functional data and technology initiatives across People Analytics, with a portfolio that spans workforce transformation and restructuring programs, regulatory initiatives such as EU Pay Transparency, performance-related programs, workforce planning, reporting modernization, data reconciliation and validation, workflow automation, and the rapid development of tactical data solutions.
We are seeking a technically strong, execution-oriented senior individual contributor who can independently translate ambiguous business requirements into practical, well-built data and technology solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role: the ideal candidate is comfortable moving from problem definition through solution design, build, testing, and implementation—developing SQL, transformation logic, analytical datasets, dashboards, and automation directly rather than only coordinating the work of others.
The successful candidate will combine data analysis, SQL development, data modeling, reporting and business intelligence development, and workflow automation with strong solution design, technical project execution, cross-functional stakeholder coordination, and Agile delivery skills. They can quickly evaluate a business problem, determine an appropriate technical approach, build or configure the solution, test and reconcile it, document it, and support implementation.
The Programs & Projects team works closely with—but is distinct from—LinkedIn's People Data Governance team, which owns enterprise governance strategy, data ownership and stewardship frameworks, metadata management, and data quality strategy. This role follows and operationalizes established governance, privacy, and security requirements as part of project delivery, and partners with the Data Governance team where initiatives intersect.

Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, testing, and defect resolution to ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and audit-ready.
Support high-visibility, mission-critical HR programs—including workforce transformation initiatives and regulatory programs such as EU Pay Transparency—by delivering data extraction, processing and transformation, reporting, and automation solutions that adapt to fast-changing data inputs and outputs while handling highly sensitive workforce data.
Partner with stakeholders across People Analytics, HR Technology, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Finance, and HR business teams to align on scope, requirements, and delivery timelines.
Identify project dependencies, risks, data gaps, and implementation issues early, and recommend practical mitigation approaches.
Manage assigned work within Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile delivery models, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
Prepare technical documentation, process flows, business rules, test cases, and implementation procedures.
Support production deployments, cutovers, stabilization, and post-launch issue resolution.
Follow established Data Governance, Privacy, Security, and compliance standards across all solution delivery.
Recommend practical solutions that balance speed, scalability, controls, and maintainability.
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with limited supervision, prioritizing effectively across competing demands.
Create reusable frameworks, templates, automation components, and analytical assets that improve team velocity and consistency.
