We have an exciting opportunity for a   Senior Systems Engineer – Integration and Test , supporting one of our premier programs within Raytheon, an RTX Business. In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. Within Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate our products by developing test strategies, executing integration activities, analyzing system performance, and ensuring mission-critical capabilities perform as intended. Your experience with software integration, automated testing, verification and validation, and customer engagement will be instrumental to program success. What You Will Do • Execute the program’s test strategy, including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation • Support full lifecycle integration and testing of real-time ground software systems, including software setup, test execution, regression analysis, and root cause resolution • Collaborate across multi-vendor and multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and validate software releases from various upstream development teams • Support customer-led mission test events and operational demonstrations • Partner with Raytheon senior leadership, government customers, and technical subject matter experts to support system development and test execution • Analyze system performance, identify technical issues, and drive solutions to closure • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery activities • Work within a collaborative Agile program environment Qualifications You Must Have • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. • Experience as an Integration and/or Test Engineer supporting software development programs on government contracts • Experience writing, executing, and integrating automated tests using automated test tools • Experience developing scripts using Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages, Experience supporting software verification and validation activities in a systems integration environment • Active and transferable DoD TS U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain special program access. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer • Experience working in an Agile development environment and with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) • Experience with automated test frameworks such as Cucumber • Experience developing and deploying software in cloud environments • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, requirements management, functional analysis, interface definition and control, and verification and validation What We Offer • Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
