The Industrial Engineering team plays an integral part in allowing the organization to achieve that goal. We are seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of our product development operating system within our Innovation Center. As a highly influential individual contributor, you will drive enterprise-wide improvements to how products are developed, built, transferred to manufacturing, and commercialized. Partnering across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management, you will establish scalable engineering processes, governance, and best practices that improve development speed, product quality, manufacturing readiness, and organizational capability. If you're passionate about solving organizational systems challenges, influencing engineering at scale, and building repeatable ways of working, this role offers the opportunity to shape how innovation happens across the enterprise. Where you come in: Business Process Transformation & Product Development Excellence Develop and continuously improve the organization's business processes from product development concept through commercial launch. Establish standardized processes, governance, and engineering best practices across the Innovation Center. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce development cycle time while improving product quality and manufacturing readiness. Identify systemic inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements throughout the site Design Transfer & Manufacturing Readiness Lead initiatives that improve the transition of products from R&D into Operations and high-volume manufacturing. Develop standardized design transfer methodologies, deliverables, and readiness assessments. Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to improve manufacturability early in product development. Improve collaboration between engineering and operations to minimize post-transfer engineering changes and minimize non-conformances. What makes you successful: Have experience developing and implementing scalable engineering systems, processes, or operating models. Think strategically and apply systems thinking to solve complex organizational challenges. Influence cross-functional teams and leaders without direct authority. Have a strong foundation in product development, design transfer, and manufacturing readiness. Drive continuous improvement through standardized processes and engineering best practices. Apply robust engineering methodologies, including DFM, DFA, DOE, DFSS, or Lean Product Development. Use data and metrics to measure performance and drive decision-making. Communicate effectively across technical and business functions, from engineers to executive leadership.
