The starting pay range for this position per hour is $27.00 - $29.00. The full pay range for this position per hour is $27.00 - $45.90

The S tyle team is passionate about A pparel and A ccessories (A&A) , brings the energy of style to life with compelling in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. They are welcoming and helpful in meeting guests needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room and have resources to provide assistance with outfitting, accessorizing and building the basket to drive top line sales.

G uest service fundamentals and experience building a guest - first culture on your team
R etail business fundamentals , including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and pr omotion s strategies
P lanning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
L eading a team of hourly team members , including skills in helping with selecting, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent
A s a Style Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.
Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities , takes action to improve , and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience.
Understand sales goals, plan daily/weekly workload at the direction of your direct leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement , including merchandising, pricing workload, make changes to salesfloor merchandise displays , sales plans, events and promotions .
With direct leader guidance, lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate about Apparel & Accessories by ensuring they are educated on o ur brands and assortment offerings.
Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately.
With direct leader guidance, lead the apparel backroom process, including sort , backroom organization, and replenishment of the salesfloor in support of replenishment, fulfillment and guest needs.
Plan and validate floorpad sets by ensuring visual merchandising guides, transitions, revisions, and sales plans are set accurately and teams are following remerchandising best practices as needed to support a guest ready floorpad .
Establish routines to ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe for our team members and guest s .
Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions .
Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the instore security culture.
Su pport merchandise protection strategies across the total store, including storage and application as directed by best practices.
Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes.
Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs
Address all store emergency and compliance needs
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance w
