AES Clean Energy's Operations team is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Portfolio Asset Management to oversee and develop a team of Senior Portfolio Asset Managers, Portfolio Asset Managers, and Analysts . This leadership role is responsible for guiding a high-performing team that provides reporting, oversight, and coordination for a renewable energy portfolio exceeding 1 GW of financed assets . The Team Lead will play a critical role in fleet-level decision-making, executive communications, strategic planning, and the delivery of key leadership initiatives. In addition to leading and developing team members, this individual will help maximize the financial and operational performance of AES Clean Energy's rapidly growing renewable and energy storage portfolio. The team serves as a central point of coordination across multiple functions, managing financial performance, commercial obligations, compliance requirements, risk mitigation strategies, and administrative activities, while also providing oversight and support for operations and maintenance activities across the asset fleet. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished renewable energy asset management professional to lead at scale, influence strategic outcomes, and contribute directly to one of the fastest-growing clean energy portfolios in the country. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:   Lead of a team of Portfolio Asset Managers   Enhance and automate core processes and interaction with other teams within AES Clean Energy   Owner’s Representative tasked with managing AES Clean Energy’s interest in several project portfolios    Oversee project financial matters (P&L responsibility), prepare annual   budgets   and continually track and explain variance to budget, within assigned portfolios   Support resolution or mitigation of any major plant outages as appropriate   Collaborate with various teams to   identify   revenue increasing and risk mitigation opportunities   Project Administration, Compliance & Stakeholder Management   Be the subject matter expert on all compliance and commercial obligations   pursuant to   project governing documents and ensure strict compliance including Power Purchase Agreements, Hedge Agreements, Interconnection Agreements, land leases, Financing Agreements, and LLC Agreements   Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data contained in AES Clean Energy’s renewable energy information system that tracks compliance and key project data by proactively reviewing and summarizing deliverables of contracts and other project documents   Prepare recurring reports on project performance for internal and external parties and respond to inquiries   Ensure the c omplete   all compliance   obligations   pursuant to   contract requirements and regulatory agencies (including EIA, CEC, FERC) in   timely   fashion.    Identify   opportunities to   optimize   the financi
