Job description: Position: Technical Writer Location: Hicksville, NY (Long Island) Duration: 2 Months (extendable) Only Citizens and GC can apply  Requires a storm plan be submitted each year. The current plan is being reformatted and updated. Looking for an individual to come in to assist with the development of the plan and will be working off standard templates that have already been created.  8 or 9 areas need to be updated. Will be working re-writing section of storm plan, interviewing and obtaining exact steps of each section, creating a check sheet and collaborating with the leads for each area. • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience • 5+ years of experience • Background in Process Improvement or Process Documentation • Experience with a Utility or Emergency Preparedness is a bonus • Word, Excel, PowerPoint  Possibility for extension to the end of Jan 2016.
