Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required Hurricane Mesa Test Facility (HMTF) is a unique test site tasked with validating ejection seat systems and subsystems. Tests vary from sled track tests to seat-aircrew separation, braking system acceptance testing, and other energetic and subsystem performance tests. Sled tests involve state-of-the-art anthropometric manikins (akin to automotive industry manikins) at ejection velocities from zero airspeed/zero altitude to beyond the speed of sound (760+ mph ground speed). This position is for a Test Support Engineer.  This person will be responsible for supporting test setup and providing general technical support for all onsite test programs.  The role will work with customers, both internal and external, on developing and supporting tests and other activities at HMTF.  Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Work as part of an engineering team in developing, testing, and qualifying various aircraft escape systems and components.
