Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required As a Test Technician IV, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including ATP/ESS testing, trouble shooting to the component level, creating quality notifications. Our role is crucial in maintaining the flow of work and ensuring high-quality output. This is for 1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm What You Will Do: Follow and offer suggestions for improvement to Health and Safety guidelines ensuring safe work environment Testing a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures Setting up and operating various test stands Configuring, Calibrating and Maintaining test equipment Interpreting and recording test results Recognizing and isolating test equipment failures Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level Reading and interpreting technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff (e.g. shift pass down, engineering, maintenance) Work alone and as a member of a team to ensure production and quality goals are met Participate in formal and informal continuous improvement efforts and projects Working Environment: You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs. In this role, you will be exposed to: Products of various weights and sizes, equipment with moving parts, high potential (voltage/current), chemicals that may emit fumes. To minimize safety risk to you and product, you must follow site static-control and personal protective equipment guidelines and procedures. Physical Demands: Bending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc. Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation) Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Transporting product with or without product carts Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience Qualifications We Prefer: Ability to read and interpret technical data.
