Company Overview Colorado Periodontal Group is seeking a Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant  to join our growing specialty team! This is a  part-time, 3  day per week  position   working Wednesday- Friday . In this role, you will be assisting our periodontists at two general dentistry clinics located in Denver and Thornton . We work with two fantastic periodontists that are easy to work with and believe in coaching and developing their teams. This is a great opportunity to gain some hands on surgical experience and delve into the fascinating world of periodontics! Our ideal  Periodontal Dental Assistant  will have  2 or more years of experience  assisting in a perio, endo, or oral surgery specific role. However, we are open to training recent dental assistant graduates or assistants from other areas of dentistry as long as you are reliable, passionate and eager to learn. If this sounds like you,  apply today-we'd love to hear from you! _________________________________________________________________________________ _____ 📆 Schedule:  Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45am-4pm, Fridays 7:45am-2pm or 3pm 💰Compensation:  $23-$26hr, plus monthly bonus opportunities based on performance. 🚗 Mileage reimbursement: Available if locations are outside of a 20 mile radius, reimbursed using national average. ✅ Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly rate, vision insurance, and 401k matching for our part-time employees.  _________________________________________________________________________________ _____ 📌Responsibilities: Genuinely welcome patients into the practice Assist the Periodontist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry A thorough review and update of the patient's health history Sterilization of instruments according to OSHA regulations Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory  Provide post-operative care instructions 📖Requirements: Certified dental assistant or dental assistants with previous experience in any specialty Reliable transportation to travel between clinics X-Ray Certification  required Active CPR or BLS certification  required Certified Dental Assistant preferred Accepting applications until July 31, 2026 or we find the right candidate Pay Range USD $23.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
