Job Details This position will float between Commack, Centereach, and the St. Charles Campus locations Responsibilities: Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Utilizes proper body mechanics. Moving, positioning and transferring patients without assistance or with assistance when needed for patient safety. Performs routine diagnostic ultrasound/echo exams and procedures: This includes, but not limited to: abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts (including breast, thyroid, testicular). Doppler Studies of Carotid, Abdomen, Pelvis, Small Parts, Peripheral vascular, and Echocardiac exams. Assist in breast biopsy procedures. May include OR procedures. Assist in TEE (Transesophageal) procedures. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness. Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and the healthcare team in person and via telephone. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARDMS/RDCS or eligible within 6 months of employment is required Skills:  Strong breast and general imaging skills  Posted Salary Range USD $55.65 - USD $61.22 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
