EO/AA This position is responsible to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific project which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The incumbent works closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule. Coordinates internal resources and vendors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes. Responsibilities Essential Functions Develops project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensures technical feasibility. Creates a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Determines the resources required to complete the project Develops a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities required. Determines objectives and measures to evaluate the project at its completion. Executes the project according to the project plan. Monitors the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary. Ensures the project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality expectations. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of project management. Ability to manage multiple projects at once. Ability to analyze and document complex business processes. Ability to prepare written and verbal communications for projects. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalency. Two years of applicable experience. Qualifications (Preferred) Preferred Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Experience in the healthcare industry Working Conditions and Physical Demands Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. This is a sedentary position in an office setting that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
