🔍 What You’ll Do:
Partner closely with the Product Liability underwriting team to rate, quote, and issue binders using internal systems
Prepare and issue policies in accordance with underwriting and operational guidelines
Process midterm policy endorsements efficiently and accurately
Communicate with brokers to gather required documentation and follow up on outstanding items
Support claims by setting up new files, sending notices, and providing administrative assistance
Assist finance during month-end close, including premium follow-ups
Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational excellence
Qualifications
✅ What You Bring:
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience as an Underwriting Assistant, ideally in General Liability (preferred)
Familiarity with underwriting processes, terminology, and rating practices
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe; experience with underwriting systems a plus
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
