The User Experience team at Roku comprises UX designers, researchers, and writers, working collaboratively with our world-class Product and Engineering teams to meet customer needs for a Roku experience that delivers simplicity and delight.
What is the role?
Roku is seeking a UX Product Designer to join the Partner Tools team, supporting the design of enterprise experiences that enable both internal and external partners to efficiently complete critical tasks and achieve business goals. In this role, you will design intuitive, user-centered solutions for internal tools that streamline partner workflows, including self-service capabilities for content partners to manage and merchandise their own content. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders — to define user journeys and create interaction designs that enhance the partner experience.
This role requires a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering high-quality design outcomes. You will own your designs end-to-end, from requirements gathering through implementation support, and will contribute to design critiques and formal reviews with UX leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in enterprise tools design, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to communicate design decisions effectively across diverse disciplines.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $175,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What are the responsibilities of the role?
Design innovative, intuitive solutions for new features and enhancements across a variety of enterprise tools used by Roku's internal and external partners
Gather requirements and create user-centered experience flows, incorporating cross-functional input from teams across Roku
Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to identify problems, business goals, and user outcomes that inform design decisions
Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the full product and feature lifecycle
Utilize user journeys and research insights to guide and frame design approaches
Own designs end-to-end and communicate design rationale effectively to colleagues across diverse disciplines
Give and receive constructive feedback in regular design critiques with peers and in formal design reviews with UX leadership
Plan and deliver design presentations to UX leadership, stakeholders, and executive teams
Advocate for the user by integrating research findings and usability best practices into all design work
What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?
3+ years of experience in UX or product design with the ability to work independently alongside a product team and other designers
Demonstrated experience designing for enterprise tools or B2B platforms
Strong knowledge of current web standards and responsive design principles
Portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate user-centered design solutions with measurable outcomes (please include an online portfolio link with your resume)
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and embrace opportunities to rapidly iterate on designs
Hands-on experience collaborating with user researchers or conducting user research, and applying findings to inform design decisions
Deep empathy for users and a passion for innovation and problem-solving
Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma or similar platforms for creating user interfaces
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non
