Job Summary JOB SUMMARY:   The Vice President, Finance Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations of WCG Clinical. This role provides leadership to critical finance functions, including procurement and facilities. The Vice President, Finance Operations ensures efficient, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services and maintains high standards for workplace environments across the organization. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, vendor partnerships, risk management, and continuous process improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Implement procurement best practices, policies, and systems to drive process efficiency and cost savings. Drive automation and process improvements across finance functions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Manage facilities budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts. Direct and manage procurement activities to ensure timely and compliant acquisition of goods, services, and technology. Lead the management of WCG Clinical’s physical assets, office spaces, and facilities services. Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, FP&A, Human Resources, and Tech Solutions to support strategic initiatives and optimize resource management. Provide financial insights, analytics, and reporting to inform executive decision-making and advance business goals. Monitor vendor performance for conformance and maintain continual review to ensure all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications. Lead and mentor procurement and facility teams, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth in alignment with WCG’s values Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company standards, ethical principles, and regulatory requirements applicable to clinical research organizations. Support M&A, integrations, and other transformational projects as required. Champion WCG’s culture of inclusivity, innovation, and results-driven leadership within the Finance Operations team. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: CPA Certification is strongly preferred. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Procurement experience and working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. Demonstrated success in vendor negotiation, sourcing and procurement techniques. Prior experience in healthcare, clinical research, or life sciences sector highly desirable. Proven success in driving process improvements, automating finance workflows, and integrating new systems. Deep knowledge of financial regulations, GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems (ERP). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of developing and empowering teams. Analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :    Overall responsibility of management including direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of the assigned team and staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Pay Range USD $124,200.00 - USD $207,500.00 /Yr.
